The NIIRAHHS app accesses the device camera only in the therapist module to:

  • Capture images of a patient’s leg or foot

  • Monitor treatment progression over time

  • Attach images securely to the patient’s case sheet

  • Camera access is never used in the patient module

  • Images are not shared publicly

  • Images are stored securely and accessible only to authorized therapists

  • Camera access occurs only with user consent and action


1.4 Microphone / Voice Recording (Therapist Module Only)

The app uses microphone access only for therapists to:

  • Record voice notes describing treatment details

  • Avoid manual typing during therapy sessions (e.g., when hands are oiled)

  • Store recordings securely as part of the treatment case sheet

  • Voice recording is manual and intentional

  • No background or continuous audio recording

  • Audio is never used for advertising or analytics

  • Recordings are accessible only to authorized therapists
